Birthdays and Naps

Mary's friend Wayne...the one in China...had a birthday today. Or, was it yesterday? Right now here is yesterday in China, isn't it? I never found out if his travel box was big enough or how long he was stuck in it. Mary said he got there ok. He hasn't sent me any photos of chinese cats yet. I heard Linda say they eat cats in China. I hope not! Anyway, I'm still waiting for photos of China. Mary said he'll send some as soon as he gets a new camera. She got a little carried away sending him birthday cards. Linda and Deb helped her pick out some funny cards. At least, I think they were funny. They did a lot of giggling when they were looking at the pictures of the cards. I hope he had a happy birthday. I like it when it's my birthday. My humans give me extra treats then. Well, they give me extra treats whenever I ask for them but they give me special treats when it's my birthday. But they don't wait for my birthday to give me presents. Alma's mom gave me a nice soft blanket for my bed-box last week. It smells so nice and is so soft. I hope Wayne has a nice soft blanket. Mary said his bed was long enough for him but not very soft. I hope he can sleep on a not very soft bed. I can sleep anywhere. Mmm, that bookshelf in Sue's office would be a good place for a nap about now.
